At the Dermatology Center of Raleigh, Dr. Trakimas has personally selected the products that we dispense to our patients.
Her selections are made based on four key factors:
1) The level of medical and scientific evidence that the product is likely to be beneficial based on detailed examination of the products ingredients, formulation, and clinical trial and other data.
2) The level of medical evidence that the product is safe for the envisioned use and that it is made to high standards by well established reputable companies.
3) Direct personal use and evaluation of each product by the Dr. herself.
4) Experience gained Dr. Trakimas over the years based on observing results and from feedback from patients and staff that have been treated.
New products are often being introduced into the market. Therefore, new products are continually being reviewed and tested by Dr. Trakimas and evaluated against the above criteria before they are recommended and made available to our patients.
